History: Hanz and I began working on the new BF tikit when I arrived at the company in the fall of 2006. By March we were making a string of prototypes, of which this is one. The seat angle is a bit funky, and the fold a bit wide, but it rides just as a Bike Friday should - as good as your best bike. It is set up just like my other road bikes, and honestly it is hard to know that you are on little 16" wheelS! And then I can fold it in under 2 seconds, no quick releases, very easy. I rode it a lot in the spring to test it, including taking it with me to Arizona (I rode to the airport towing the suitcase/trailer - coming back it took me twelve minutes from grabbing the case from the conveyor to riding out of the terminal, not too shoddy). Very handy to have a bike that you never have to lock up - just fold it and roll it into whatever store or restaurant you are visiting. ![]() ![]()
