I think 2005 qualifies as my most successful season so far, so I thought I should have the year's results listed for prosperity! I managed to
win a wide range of events, from a 12 hour mountain bike race to a two minute hillclimb. I acheived my best ever result in a National Championship -
fourth in the Hillclimb, highest ever finish in a Premier Calendar road race - 12th in the Tour of the Peak, and smashed my '10' and '25' PBs to
record 20:06 and 51:47 respectively. Worst placing all season was 12th, and outside of National events, no worse than fifth. Low point of the
year was having to pull out of the Saab-Saloman Mountain Mayhem 24hr race with a knee injury when looking good for a podium finish. But I bounced
back to take fourth overall in the Giro delle Dolomiti hillclimb stage race in Italy.
