Here is my teammate Chris and I enjoying our moment of glory on the podium after winning our category in the Duo Normand 2-up time trial 2004. And yes, those are genuine Credit Lyonnais lions - how cool!?

On the attack in the Reading CC road race, 2003. I had no legs early on and missed the break - but I felt better later, and here have just attacked from the chasing group. I rode 12 miles solo to catch most of the leading group and finish an eventual fourth.

fastest man (how about 80mph ladies and gents), ready for the off in
the beautiful Varna Diablo.

Finally a race with a podium! And a win in another country - this was
the North American HPV champs in Montreal. I won the overall in the
stock class. National champion!

After several days frustration being beaten
by the Europeans at the velodrome, we
finally got outside for the 60K road race. I
was on a flyer, leading from the gun, to win
by five minutes from my Kingcycle team
mate Steve 'Slasher' Slade. The bike is the
venerable Kingcycle Wasp, may look
shabby with the gaffer tape but it doesn't
half shift!
